Half Full or Half Empty

Do I count my blessings or what I wish I had? Do I see the cup half full or half empty?
This question is worthy to ask about our personal lives, religious life, our country, and our finances. If we live our lives constantly pining for the things we do not have, we will always come up short. If I count my blessings like the good Lord has wanted us to, I will have more than enough.
There are always enough disappointments in life, to cause one to feel like the, “Good ol’ days,” are past and gone. We can dwell on our losses, and live in a constant state of failure and hopelessness or we can count our blessings for the things we do have.
A thankful person can always find something to be thankful for and is generally, a happy person.
This does not mean that we cannot ever be dissatisfied, with our job or performance. We need some of that to motivate change, but somewhere in here is a fine line when dissatisfaction becomes an all consuming presence, which permeates our lives and effects those around us.
