Breaking News!

“The man called Jesus, who was put to death last Friday, has come back to life, according to certain witnesses!”

Apparently, it was discovered early Sunday morning, by this man’s close friends. About sunrise, several holy women who were close friends to Him, found the tomb empty. They were planning to anoint His body with things they had prepared for the dead.

Upon arrival at the tomb, they found the stone covering rolled away, and a Holy Being spoke to them, telling them He had risen from the dead. They were so shocked that some of them rushed immediately to tell His other close followers whom He called His disciples. In the mean time one called Mary Had an encounter with Jesus Himself and a brief conversation. This story is also verified by those who came later to see the tomb. They said His shroud was folded and lay in the grave, apparently like He had taken it off, folded it and placed it there on purpose for evidence.

Later on in the day, a couple of His followers were walking the road to Emmaus when a stranger joined their party of travelers. This stranger explained the events to them which had recently transpired, and upon stopping to eat and for the night, they suddenly realized that this was indeed Jesus himself, whereupon He vanished. This caused them such excitement, they rushed back to Jerusalem, where they told the rest of His disciples. Soon after they arrived, Jesus miraculously appeared among them in the closed room. He briefly spoke to them, and they shared some fish with Him before He once again vanished. No one knows exactly where He is, where He went, or when He will next appear.

There were also reports of graves opening and saints who died long ago, were seen walking through the streets.

This turn of events has the authorities quite baffled. They had taken extra precautions to be sure the body was kept safe. Allegedly, the Jewish leaders were afraid something like this was possible. According to witnesses, they remembered this man Jesus, saying that He would rise again from the dead on the third day. The keepers at the tomb apparently either fell asleep or were struck with a trance, and were unable to interfere in any way. This was something like they had never experienced before; heavenly beings , angels, opening up a tomb and the dead coming alive again.

It is alleged that the leaders of the Jewish sector, paid the keepers to say that His disciples came by night and stole the body away, to make it look as though He had risen from the dead. This may have been what this man’s friend Mary thought when she had her brief exchange there at the tomb. She first thought He was a gardener and asked Him where they had taken the body of her Lord. When He spoke to her she then recognized His voice and knew that she was speaking with Jesus.

The Jewish leaders appear to be very unhappy about this turn of events and want to silence it.

There seems to be something different happening though, and there are changes taking place which will have a huge impact on society at large. It is yet unclear how this will affect everyone, yet there is an element of hope and joy radiating from those who believe in this Man. They say, this is a new era, and prophecy has been fulfilled.

Interesting enough, the death of this man coincides with the slaying of the Jewish Passover lamb. Many feel that His death was the final sacrificial atonement for the sins of the whole world. Hereby, validating the words of the late John the Baptist who said “Behold, the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world!”

More details of this story may be found in the Bible. The four writers of the gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, each record the happenings of the crucifixion, from their own personal perspective. You will find they are all in agreement that Jesus was and is indeed the Son of God, who died to take away the sins of the world. That was not just for those at that time, over two thousand years ago, but for all of mankind, from the beginning of time, until now. It Is a personal story for each one of us. It is more than history, it’s like living history. It will not be finished until Jesus returns to take us home to be with Him forever in eternity.
